Celebrate one of the most remarkable Formula 1 drivers of all time and one of the most impressive campaigns in Formula 1 history with Michael Schumacher’s used Schuberth crash helmet from his 2002 F1 season, one that saw the German become only the second driver to win a fifth world title.

Description

This particular Schuberth helmet incorporates all of the Ferrari team's branding, including the tobacco sponsorship details from Marlboro (which was removed for selected races thanks to Europe’s restrictions on cigarette advertising) and also Michael’s personal sponsor Kerakoll. The helmet also includes some signs of wear and tear.

History

Michael Schumacher’s 2002 F1 campaign started with a race win in the chaotic opening round at the Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne and the German would go on to take another 11 victories and set one of the most impressive records which, to this day, has not been broken – The Ferrari driver managed a 100% podium record for the 2002 season.

Schumacher won the World title for the fifth time, matching the great Juan Manuel Fangio’s all-time record set in the 1950’s with a victory in the French Grand Prix at Magny Cours, with an unprecedented six races still to run.
