Bengio started when the promising kart driver Alessandro Begnozzi suffered a severe chest injury in an ordinary race accident. After the accident, his father Stefano decided to design and create a new protector that would offer a more comfortable and ergonomic chest protect with higher safety standards. Years of development and testing led Bengio HST to develop their state-of-the-art products for drivers of all ages.
