Description
Details Fans of the 7 time constructors' champions, Williams F1 can now add a very unique die-cast model to their collection - this beautiful limited edition 1/12 scale model of the famous Walrus nosecone used on the 2004 FW26 Williams F1 cars for the first half of the season. |
History & Description The walrus style nose cone was designed by Williams F1 aerodynamicist, Antonia Terzi (who sadly passed away in a car accident in November 2021) with the intention of maximising airflow around the front of the car. The concept was of interest to a lot of teams in the paddock but Williams didn't have a successful season, with just one victory at the finale in Sao Paulo with outgoing driver Juan-Pablo Montoya. Amalgam have gone to great lengths to make this model as accurate as possible, featuring all of the correct endplates, as well as the branding and sponsorship decals which appeared on the 2004 Williams F1 challenger. Mounted on a smart chrome plaque, this is a wonderful yet unique memorabilia item to proudly display in your motorsport collection. Don't miss it. |
