For the majority of Schumacher’s career, the German wore Schuberth helmets, and his 2004 model was finished in an iconic day-glow red and also incorporated the team’s branding (tobacco censored) and the German national flag, which runs along the back and front of the helmet. History

Coming off a title winning season in 2003, Schumacher headed into the new season with his sights set on becoming the first Formula 1 driver to take seven world titles. The German’s campaign started in dominant fashion, winning the opening five races, and he would go on to take another eight victories.

Schumacher’s performance over the course of the season was so strong he wrapped up the drivers’ championship at the Belgian Grand Prix, four races before the end of the season.
