Rejoice in our incredible 2019 Total 24 Hours of Spa victory with Micheal Christensen’s race used helmet from the grand race, signed by the Porsche factory driver himself.

Description

The Danish racer's helmet features his 2019 season helmet design and is also fitted with the original, radio lead, drinks bottle connection and all of our own GPX Racing and Porsche braining.

Christensen has left his autograph on the back of his helmet, right above the Gulf logo with the words "24h Spa winner". All of this, helps make this item a real collectors item.

History

Our Porsche 911 GT3 R, racing in the iconic Gulf petroleum livery, started from P11 on the grid after qualifying for the top 20 super pole shootout, but  we very quickly made up nine positions by the time the first pit stops came around.

Despite torrential rain, fog (which caused a lengthy red flag delay) and strong opposition from some of the toughest GT3 teams in the world, such as sister team ROWE Racing and WRT Audi, Estre was able to take the lead not long after the 22-hour mark. 

Micheal Christensen did his job and kept our 911 GT3 R out of trouble and on the road during his stints to help us win the Spa 24 hours. Our first win at the great race on our first attempt.
