Mercedes AMG Petronas - Nico Rosberg Gloves

The 2014 championship contender wore this set of Puma racing gloves during the 2014 Singapore Grand Prix as part of a promotion for his new Ingenieur Chronograph watch which was designed by the IWC Schaffhausen watch company. 

Description & History

Rosberg’s watch is perfectly pictured on his left-hand glove, featuring the design details which the German picked himself. The silver-plated dial, yellow chronograph hands and even the details on the rubber strap. Only 250 pieces were made and released in the week building up to the Grand Prix.

Rosberg’s gloves also feature his personal “NICO” branding, the Puma logo and the eye-catching Petronas blue which Rosberg adopted on his gloves and race boots from the 2014 Monaco Grand Prix onwards.

Sadly, the Singapore Grand Prix was one to forget for the German as he couldn’t start the race from his second place starting position due to problems with his W04’s steering collum electronics. The problem wouldn’t be resolved and after starting the race from the pits, the then championship leader had to retire.

Racing gloves from Formula 1 drivers are a rare find but one-off gloves are even more so. Don’t squander the opportunity to get your hands on these incredible gloves.
