The 1:8 scale model of the 2003 race winning car is fitted with the original team livery and branding that was seen on the race winning car and also incorporates the car's technical features. Only 99 models of the Speed 8 were made by the incredibly professional Amalgam team, so there is a very good chance that this won’t be on our shelves for long.

History

Arguably one of the most beautiful LMP1 cars of all time, the Bentley Speed 8 became a legendary part of the 24 Hours of Le Mans’ history as the #7 car, driven by Guy Smith, Ronaldo “Dindo” Capello and Mr Le Mans, Tom Kristensen, who took one of his nine titles in this iconic machine,

The 2003 Le Mans 24 hours was the third and final race of the Bentley Speed 8 but the factory team from Crewe were still focused on taking the overall victory. The British marque locked out the front row in qualifying with the #7 car on pole position and would go on to take a historic victory for the company, finishing two laps ahead of the sister #8 Speed 8.”
