The Hypertech V2 weighs an astounding 265g/sqm and still manages to keep its extraordinary lightweight feel while meeting the far tighter standards of the new FIA Standard 8856-2018. The new inside lining is an innovative aramidic knit that again complies with the new FIA standard, while the outside shell is made of an aramidic Nomex anti-static outer shell that offers the best heat and flame protection while keeping the lightest weight. Moreover, Alpinestars-only thin, flexible, superlight panels are incorporated into the suit to optimize comfort while also enabling the suit to adjust body temperature to its ideal levels. The elbow area, lower back and sides, crotch, and knee zones all have these F1-derived stretch panels carefully positioned to offer outstanding degrees of flexibility and freedom of motion in all the important mobility areas.
