Description

In 2010, Alpinestars were the racing kit supplier for the Mercedes AMG Petronas team and designed the suits to meet Rosberg and Schumacher’s requirements and incorporate the German manufactures branding specifications.

History

The turn of a new decade saw Mercedes return to Formula 1 Grand Prix racing as a works team for the first time since 1955 after the German marque bought the reigning world champions Brawn GP team. 

Rosberg moved to the German squad to form a “Dream Team” line-up with Michael Schumacher after four years with Williams Grand Prix and was quick from the get go. Nico scored three podiums at the Malaysian, Chinese and British Grand Prix’s and set the foundations for the future. The German would race for the “Silver Arrows” for a further six years before retiring from Formula 1 less than two weeks after taking the 2016 Formula 1 World Championship.
