History Deletraz was racing for the German, Nürburgring based team, Pheonix racing in 2006 driving the Aston Martin DBR9 alongside Andrea Piccini. It was the Frenchman’s first season with the team but his fourth in the championship and at the final weekend in Dubai, he and his teammate took the victory and ensured they finished in third place in the championship standings. It would also be his and Piccini’s fourth podium finish of the season. |
