We are proud to present to you a genuine race used set of Formula 1 overalls used by the popular Austrian, Gerhard Berger during his first year with the Benetton F1 Team in 1996.

Description

Berger competed in 13 seasons at the highest level of motorsport and took 10 Grand Prix victories. The Austrian moved to Benetton in 1996 and would race for the team for two seasons before hanging up his helmet at the end of 1997. During his penultimate season in Formula 1, Berger scored two impressive podiums at the San Marino and British Grand Prix’s where he finished third and second.

His strong performances over the course of the season helped the team to third in the constructors’ standings and Berger would end the year in 6 th in the drivers’ Championship.

History

This suit, made by the Italian racewear company Sparco, has also been signed by
the man himself. All of the original branding from the suit is still on the overalls and
has been maintained properly.
