Details

This is a great addition to any motorsport collection. A perfectly preserved Stand 21 racing suit, used in the 1994 Le Mans 24 Hours endurance race by Alan Ferte, one of France’s most experienced and talented racing drivers.

Description

Ferte’s classic Stand 21 fireproof overalls include the team’s branding and sponsors as well as that of the organiser.

History

Ferte has competed in 14 24 Hours of Le Mans races and was even the pole sitter from the 1994 race in which he competed for Ives Courage’s Courage Competition team with Henri Pescarolo and Franck Lagorce.

Ferte and his team had hoped for a very strong result after their performance in the build-up to the race but unfortunately after the 11th hour of the race, the Porsche engine in the back of the Courage failed and the team didn’t finish the race.
