1993 Philippe Alliot Suit

Team: Peugeot Talbot Sport
Driver Status: Race Driver
Championship: 1993 24 Hours of Le Mans

This is a rare Phillipe Alliot Le Mans 24 Hours Peugeot Sport suit used during the 1993 edition of the race.

The suit still has all of the original branding from the race and has been kept in perfect condition.

Phillipe Alliot had earned himself the reputation of being one of the fastest men around the prestigious Circuit de La Sarthe with three consecutive pole positions. Alliot set the fastest time on the Wednesday qualifying session, despite having a massive crash at the Porsche Curves which destroyed his Peugeot 905.

The team rebuilt the car and Alliot took the start for the team. Despite a small mistake in the opening few minutes and a couple of technical problems during the race, Alliot along with his teammates Mauro Baldi and Jean-Pierre Jabouille came across the line in third position behind the two sister cars from Peugeot Talbot Sport.
