Description

This race worn suit, features all of the official Jaguar racing branding and sponsorship badges from Castrol. The suit also features the official championship badge, Camel GT as the tobacco firm became the title sponsor for the IMSA GT Championship.

Despite being a race used suit with some battle scars, this Simpson racing suit has been well looked after and will be the perfect addition to any motorsport collection.

History

In the late 80’s and early 90’s the American driver was employed to help the British automaker clinch the most prestigious endurance race in American motorsport, the 24 hours of Daytona. In 1990, Davy was partnered with Jan Lammers & Andy Wallace and the trio won the 24 hours of Daytona by four laps over their teammates, Price Cobb, John Nielsen and Martin Brundle. 

Tom Walkinshaw Racing (TWR) ran the Jaguar XJR-9 which Davy and his team-mates would take victory in.
